Product Management Principal Specialist
Our department mission is, on side to sustain Air GDS/EDIFACT business profitability, on the other side to build a long term-proof and secured Travel Order Platform enabling to smoothly manage sales of any type of Air content.
As such, the department is a key contributor to NDC[X] program (1st TRD priority), LCC program (2nd TRD priority). Next year’s challenge will be to operate the airline transformation, adapting our ecosystem to One Order / NEVIO content distribution.
The Ticketing product management team is responsible to build products in line with Amadeus strategy: from the vision to the roadmap, deliveries, deployment, and adoption.
The Scope Covers Following 3 Main Areas
Ticketing functions for air segments and services, Sales reporting to the travel Industry entities (IATA and ARC) Feeds to the travel agencies mid and back-office systems

Key Accountabilities
You will:
_ Identify, analyze, and assess business requirements from customers and prospects.
_ Benchmark other business needs.
_ Give input to the product plan/Roadmap & long-term plan.
_ Consolidate and articulate business needs into new product concepts or upgrades.
- Formalize requirements (scoping)
_ Propose solutions to the customer aligning with Amadeus business needs.
_ Assess potential gaps between customer requirements and Amadeus solutions.
_ Write a high-level business requirement and/or document detailed requirements, and Epics and User Stories as a Product Owner.
- Lead design and development
_ Work closely with Design and Development teams to define priorities and product-releasing plan for new products or product upgrades.
_ Participate to Sprints reviews when applicable / required.
- Follow up customer satisfaction
_ Provide support and assistance to customer
_ Monitor product acceptance, product performance and satisfaction
_ Take corrective action as necessary
_ Provide key information on the product to define the Value proposition
_ Contribute to the launch plan with Product Marketing and other associated teams & BUs.
_ Share content for product documentation, sales tools and collateral.
_ Create standard and tailor-made presentations, and demo scripts showing product value.
_ Give presentations, demos and familiarization sessions to customer, or train Sales to perform them.
_ Participate to the preparation of key events, guaranteeing the success of product launch and follow up.
_ Contribute to RFP/RFI for the product
- Product Owner activities (if applicable depending environment)
_ Define the product vision & the business value in line with the business owners , other POs & agile teams
_ Embark customers & Amadeus teams on product vision, share product knowledge and ensure mutual understanding of the business
_Maximize the agile team outcome: translate requirements into epics and user stories, prioritize them and validate their deliver
2-3 years in the Travel Industry with functional expertise in the Ticketing/Reservation area.
A MBA or a previous experience as Product Manager is a plus.
