Responsibilities
*For the level of projects worked and for security purposes, this role is restricted to UK + EU nationals only. This is a site-based role with the potential to work from home one day a week, when the nature of the work permits.

Your responsibilities
- Lead and support system verification activities, including system tests, qualification tests, and flight tests
- Prepare qualification plans, procedures, and reports to support programme delivery
- Support system certification and customer approval activities
- Follow robust configuration control, review, and change management processes
- Assist with the preparation of estimates, task lists, and risk management plans
- Build strong customer relationships by responding to requests in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and internal departments across the business
- Work with external subcontract organisations where required
Who we are looking for
- A degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal and team-building skills
- Sound decision-making ability
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather data, compile information, prepare reports, and present findings
- A well-organised, detail-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and deliver to deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web browsers
- Intermediate knowledge of PC software applications and a strong understanding of PC operating systems
Ideally you will also have
- Experience in the aerospace industry, carrying out Environmental and EMC qualification testing in accordance with DO-160G or equivalent military standards
