Basic Qualifications
- Experience relative to aircraft manufacturing, assembly, modification, or quality standards.
- Experience in reading and interpreting detailed blueprints, wiring installation and electrical schematics lay-out sketches, process standards and specifications, Avionics and APG installations and operational testing.
- Experience with aircraft work instructions.
Job Description
You will be the Final Assembly and Checkout Manufacturing Support Team Member Sr - (Prod Ops Specialist) - Level 3 for the F‑16 Block 70 Manufacturing Support team which is responsible for supporting production processes in a team‑based manufacturing environment.
What You Will Be Doing
As the (FACO) Manufacturing Support Team Member Sr - (Prod Ops Specialist) - Level 3 you will be responsible for providing on‑the‑job training, quality oversight, and continuous‑improvement support for F‑16 Block 70 assembly operations.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Deliver on‑the‑job training, assessment, and certification for airframe, power‑plant, and electrical/avionics assembly technicians.
- Monitor the assembly line daily to identify and correct deficient processes, procedures, or skill gaps.
- Support corrective‑action investigations, root‑cause analyses, and implement process‑improvement and 6S/lean initiatives.
- Coordinate with supervisors and management to recommend re‑certification or de‑certification of personnel based on performance standards.
- Develop practical solutions to complex manufacturing problems and maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation.

Desired Skills
- Communication and interpersonal skills for the purpose of communication and instruction at all levels
- 10+ years aircraft avionics, electrical assembly/troubleshooting experience with a minimum of 5 years F-16 experience preferred. Understanding of Aircraft System Integration, Engineering Instructions, and Troubleshooting techniques.
- F-16 Avionics and Aircraft Systems repair/modification experience highly desirable.
