Pay $72.61/hour
Required Skills
- Laboratory experience and in-depth knowledge with analytical laboratory techniques, including: HPLC/UPLC (including SEC, HIC, IEX, and RP), CE, cIEF, and Simple Western
- Chromatography and/or CE experience, specifically:
- Chromatography (HPLC / UPLC—reverse phase and SEC) or
- Capillary electrophoresis (CE)
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and strong attention to detail
- Self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- Ability to deliver complex objectives under aggressive timelines in a rapidly changing environment
- Capacity to learn new techniques, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and keep accurate records
- Ability to follow instructions and comply with company policies
- Proficiency with required laboratory and productivity tools, including:
- Empower, 32 Carat, and other laboratory software (as applicable)
- Microsoft Word and Excel
- Scientific data processing, documentation, and reporting
Nice to Have Skills
- MALS (Multi-angle light scattering) / RI / UV / CAD detection
- DLS
- Zeta Potential
- Experience analyzing small-molecules (e.g., lipids) and/or biologics (e.g., proteins or mRNA)
- Large molecule experience
- Electrophoresis
- Additional detector experience such as UV / FLD detectors
- Familiarity with separation methods including:
- Reverse phase
- SEC
- CE
- Hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC)
Preferred Education and Experience
- Ph.D. with 2+ years in analytical chemistry, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field
- M.S. with 5+ years of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry
- B.S. with 7+ years of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry

- Hands-on responsibility for analytical work including:
- Analytical method development
- Routine laboratory testing using separation and biochemical methods
- Reagent preparation
- Instrument maintenance, tracking, monitoring, troubleshooting, and minor repairs
- Maintaining a safe and clean laboratory
- Electronic notebook and document preparation
- Scientific data review
- Must be able to support aggressive timelines and deliver complex objectives consistently
