The Senior Accountant will assist with
The ideal candidate brings Big 4 or large regional public accounting experience, strong knowledge of GAAP, and exposure to SAP S/4HANA, financial reporting, and accounting process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Strong fixed asset experience is a must
- Cleaning up the CIP accounts
- Fixed Assets across 3 entities; 1 is fairly clean, 2 are fairly messy. Two additional entities may be added.
- Determine which projects are in the account, who is the manager, % completion, etc.
- Follow up with project managers and help client get the accounts cleaned up and under control.
- Proactively communicate updates and escalate items as necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- 2+ years public accounting experience preferred
- Strong fixed asset experience is a must
