The Program Coordinator, Strategic Fleet Initiatives reports to the Manager – Flight Operations Publications under the Flight Training team. The Program Coordinator, Strategic Fleet Initiatives will support strategic fleet initiatives that drive safety, performance, innovation, and process improvements across Flight Operations. This role is responsible for supporting oversight of projects from initiation through stakeholder engagement, endorsement, implementation, and completion, coordinating efforts with intra- and cross-divisional teams to achieve business objectives.
Summary Of Responsibilities (not Comprehensive Of All Tasks)
- The Program Coordinator, Strategic Fleet Initiatives will support assigned strategic fleet projects within the Strategic Fleet Initiatives portfolio, driving safety, performance, innovation, and process improvements across Flight Operations, under the direction of the Manager – Flight Operations Publications.
- Support coordination of project stakeholder engagement with internal and cross-divisional partners.
- Help drive project execution through efficient planning, milestone tracking, risk identification, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (e.g., Fleet Technical Managers, Technical Writers) to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Support the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools within the Strategic Fleet Initiatives team.
- Contribute to presentations by preparing project-level updates for stakeholders and leadership and provide detailed inputs to portfolio-level reporting prepared by the Program Manager – Strategic Fleet Initiatives.
- Assist in conducting and documenting project meetings, capturing action items, next steps, and follow-ups.
- Support project plan development, track progress, and update status reports and schedules.
- Coordinate assignments and tasks among team members, and monitor timelines to flag potential bottlenecks, projects risks, or issues.
- Maintain and organize project files, documentation, and communications for easy access by the team.
What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
- Basic proficiency in project management software and office productivity tools.
- Strong stakeholder management, consensus-building, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and issue resolution.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication and project management skills are a must.
- Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
