Exclusive | Senior/ Flying Engineer – B1/B2/C | UAE
We are working exclusively with our VVIP client to source a Senior/Flying in the UAE. Responsible for ensuring continuing airworthiness, and operational readiness of the aircraft both in the base environment and while away from base, in compliance with UAE GCAA CAR 66 regulations. The role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, inspections, compliance and documentation management, while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential:
Valid UAE GCAA CAR 66 B1/B2C Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Licence relevant to the fleet (Airbus). A Licence acceptable for conversion to a GCAA CAR 66 licence may be considered for a suitable candidate, in which case, assistance will be provided in the conversion process.
Proven experience in troubleshooting, component replacement, and maintenance certification.
Proficiency with Airbus Airn@v, AMM, IPC, and related OEM documentation.
Familiarity with stores procedures, GSE handling, and hangar facility management.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and documentation practices.
British Passport holder and/ or Native English Speaker
Desirable:
Tow Tug driving certification/experience.
Previous Flight Engineer duty experience.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Knowledge of the AMOS aircraft database system.
Familiar with Venue and CCC Cabin Management systems.
Recency with respect to EWIS, SMS, FTS, HF and SWOPS training.
