Johnson Service Group, a nationwide staffing company is looking for a Front Office & Administrative Assistant with 1-2 years’ experience in reception, office administration, or customer-facing support (internships/coordinator roles count). The job is Temp-Direct for an Electronics company in Chatsworth, CA. Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:15 AM – 4:45 PM (4/10 alternative workweek schedule) COMPENSATION: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending on experience This role is the first point of contact for Sensor Systems and a key partner to the administrative and leadership team. The position blends front-desk reception, day-to-day office coordination, and light executive-support work — keeping the front office running smoothly, supporting facilities and vendor needs, and providing administrative assistance to leadership as directed. This is a junior-level, hands-on role well suited to someone who enjoys variety and wants to build a broader administrative or HR career path. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Reception & Front Office Greet and direct visitors, vendors, clients, and customers professionally and promptly; issue visitor badges and maintain visitor logs as required for ITAR/security compliance. Answer, screen, and route incoming calls via the office switchboard. Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable lobby and front office area. Office Coordination Order and track office and kitchen supplies; manage relationships with office vendors (courier, catering, maintenance, etc.). Coordinate scheduling, setup, and tidiness of conference rooms; support meeting logistics (A/V, catering, materials). Process incoming/outgoing mail and shipments; distribute to appropriate personnel. Scan, save, and file sales packages and other documents per company recordkeeping standards. Serve as a point of contact for facilities-related issues (badge access, supply needs, minor maintenance requests). Administrative & Light Executive Support Provide administrative support to HR and leadership as needed, including document preparation, data entry, and correspondence. Assist with scheduling and calendar coordination for leadership meetings, interviews, and site visits. Coordinate business lunches, employee events, and other on-site functions. Support onboarding logistics for new hires (workspace setup, badge/access coordination, welcome materials). Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS 1–2 years of experience in reception, office administration, or customer-facing support (internships/coordinator roles count). Comfort juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, detail-sensitive environment. Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); comfortable learning new systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional, polished demeanor. Excellent judgment and discretion — this role has visibility into sensitive company and personnel information. Reliable, punctual, and able to work the full scheduled shift on-site. Preferred: English & Spanish Bilingual PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT Primarily sedentary office work; occasional walking within the facility to deliver documents or set up conference rooms. Occasional lifting of office supplies or packages up to 35 lbs. On-site position; no remote work availability. .
