Reporting to the Principal, Sales Enablement - International, this position is responsible for coordinating projects, events, and activities associated with Air Canada’s International Sales team and specifically the Sales Enablement and Sales Support groups. The individual will manage travel agency inquiries and requests and offer the highest level of support and service. The Sales Enablement Representative will support workplans to evolve Air Canada’s Sales Support and account management practices, GSA strategy, and communication in international markets. This position will also support initiatives relating to new route launches, tourism partnerships, and the growth of commercial relationships, both internal and external. This position will collaborate extensively with Sales stakeholders including Sales Operations, Support, and Planning teams, along with communications and project teams to facilitate the efficient execution of our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Consistent effective communication to ensure alignment across regional offices, GSAs, and HQ teams relating to administrative matters, deadlines, project objectives and reporting.
- Provide overall guidance and directional support to Sales Enablement team aligned with stated strategies and plans.
- Be accountable for inbound emails/support requests from contracted leisure travel agencies, TMCs, OTAs, Corporates. Handle queries in a timely manner.
- Provide accurate information & guidance on AC products, services, pricing, and procedures.
- Monitor Air Canada and partner programs to ensure visibility of AC products on distribution channels.
- Support with team technical matters including raising tech requests and follow-through.
- Organize Sales team resource libraries, ensuring validity of documents.
- Validate and distribute routine reporting to commercial stakeholders.
- Preparation of meeting minutes and presentation slides.
- Assist team with event and travel planning, expense management, and schedule design. Interface with Finance for invoice management. Support with budget management.
- Coordinate projects relating to GSA planning, Sales Support, and tactical initiatives in support of revenue and service objectives.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enable positive returns from new routes projects and tourism partnership collaborations for the International point of sale.
- Work cross-functionally to identify and communicate trends, anomalies, and opportunities that may inform better commercial decisions and outcomes.
- Assist the Sales Support team by directing inbound inquiries or providing timely advice per published guidelines in support of travel agencies and corporate accounts.
- Manage creation and printing of materials and collateral from Sales Communication, Sales Support, and Sales Enablement team libraries.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin required.
- Proven success in elevating customer experience in a sales support or customer service role.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Amadeus ARDweb, and airline pricing required.
- Experience with Salesforce and GDS an asset.
- Strong organizational & planning skills required with ability to multi-task & prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work independently under pressure, and within strict timelines.
- Professionalism and discretion while handling sensitive matters.
- Demonstrated willingness to go above and beyond for internal & external stakeholders.
- Experience in a similar Sales team support role, preferably with an airline, is an asset.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally.
