The Manager SEP Training will be accountable for shaping and delivering Emirates Airline’s Safety and Emergency Procedures (SEP) learning and development strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance and industry-leading safety standards. Drive innovative, Competency Based Training and Assessment -aligned training (CBTA) that enhances operational readiness and crew performance, while developing trainers, leveraging learning technologies, and ensuring effective delivery within budget and business objectives.
In This Role, You Will
- Lead the strategic direction of Emirates’ Safety and Emergency Procedures (SEP) training, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and delivery of business objectives within budget through effective stakeholder partnerships, innovation, and robust governance.
- Oversee the design and continuous evolution of innovative, evidence-based learning programmes aligned to regulatory and operational requirements, ensuring engaging, learner-centric solutions through technology and best practice.
- Drive a high-performance culture by developing SEP Training Specialists, strengthening capability through coaching and clear objectives to successfully deliver strategic priorities and projects within agreed timelines and scope.
- Evaluate training impact through robust metrics and insights, enabling data-driven decisions that enhance crew performance and continuously optimise training outcomes and satisfy internal and external audit standards.
- Align SEP training with business priorities by partnering with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure programmes deliver against operational requirements and performance standards while addressing the evolving needs of Cabin Crew.
- Lead the budget and commercial activities to ensure cost-effective delivery of training while maximising revenue opportunities and strengthening strategic partnerships to enhance the Emirates brand.
Qualification
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Completed Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
- 10+ years of experience in Flight Operations and Service Delivery.
- Extensive experience of airline regulatory, governmental, and legal compliance at local and international levels is preferred.
- Recognised Safety and Emergency Procedures (SEP) subject matter expert with strong knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, learning design, and training methodologies.
- Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders, including executive-level management.
- Relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to lead and drive business and organisational change.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and fast-changing environments.
