Salary: £54,793-£59,771 Dependent of skills and experience
What You’ll Be Doing
- Working closely with product owners and other stakeholders to help them better understand their requirements and help the product owner define and maintain a well refined product backlog
- Removing impediments so the development team can focus on the work at hand; or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to help them
- Using data collected from the development team to develop a picture of areas of success and improvement using the chosen system.
- Assessing the Scrum maturity of the team/organisation, and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organisation
- Building a trusting and psychologically safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on problem solving
Essential
Your skills and experiences:
- Ability to use appropriate toolsets, such as the Atlassian suite, SharePoint, Microsoft Office applications and develop and act on appropriate metrics
- Knowledge and experience of using Lean/Agile/Traditional techniques and methodologies
Desirable
- PSM1/CSM Qualifications or relevant experience
- APM qualification, or similar

The Air Project Management Team
We have several opportunities to join BAE Systems as A Scrum Master within the Air Project Management Team. The roles sit within FCAS (Future Combat Air Systems) where you will be at the forefront of modern aviation technology.
Here you will be working with teams of 10-13 like-minded professionals at different levels striving for best practice and operational excellence. You may also have the opportunity to Travel to Italy and Japan and experience BAE life with our partner organisations.
