An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Continuing Airworthiness Manager to join a well-established aviation organisation supporting a diverse and dynamic operation.
This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing continuing airworthiness activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining the highest safety standards, and supporting the successful operation of a multi-aircraft fleet. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping maintenance strategy, developing organisational capability, and leading a team of engineering professionals within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and develop continuing airworthiness and maintenance operations.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable aviation regulatory requirements.
- Manage fleet maintenance planning to maximise aircraft availability and operational performance.
- Liaise with operational stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities and aircraft scheduling.
- Oversee airworthiness reviews, maintenance programmes, technical records, and regulatory documentation.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of engineering procedures, policies, and systems.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance professionals.
- Drive a strong safety culture and promote best practice across all maintenance activities.
- Ensure quality, safety, and airworthiness standards are consistently maintained.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Significant experience in Continuing Airworthiness Management within a regulated aviation environment.
- Extensive knowledge of UK CAA and/or EASA regulatory frameworks.
- Previous experience in a senior continuing airworthiness or CAMO leadership position.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced operational environment.
- A recognised aviation engineering or airworthiness qualification.
- A proven track record of delivering compliance, safety, and operational excellence.
