The workers in the dish room are responsible for maintaining all the equipment which includes cleaning and sanitizing, sorting dishes and equipment according to specifications and needs.
Job Requirements/Duties
- Must be willing to work in a stressful, time-oriented work environment.
- Must be flexible and able to react to changing priorities.
- Must comply with all work rules and regulations.
- Must be able to carry, lift, push and pull 50+ lbs.
- Must be able to stand, bend, lift and move during shift of 8+ hours.
- Must be able to walk/stoop/ bend/ stand during shift of 8+ hours.
- Must be able to work in extreme varying temperatures.
Important Requirements
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug screens and a criminal background check including all TSA and Custom requirements.
- Must be able to perform work using required PPE (personal protective equipment) including but not limited to protective gloves, cooler/freezer gloves, hot mitts, cut resistant gloves, protective aprons, protective goggles, hearing protection, safety footwear and all required PPE.
- Works in a time sensitive environment ensuring all product meets required ready times
- Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
- Must be flexible to work in an environment that might include overnights, weekends, and holidays
- Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Sky Cafe rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the Flight Kitchen.
