Duty Manager Red Handling CPH from June to September 2024.
Come join our team! Norwegian is setting up Red Handling in Denmark, which will be our in-house ground handling services (passenger services & operations).
We are looking for a dynamic and highly professional Duty Manager, who will be responsible for management and performance of our Passenger and Operations Services at Copenhagen Airport while on shift.
In this role you will ensure the highest levels of safety, compliance and operational performance is achieved for the entire Norwegian passenger and operations activities at Copenhagen Airport.
You will report to Station Manager Red Handling CPH, and act as senior delegate for Red Handlng at CPH Airport in the absence of the Station Manager.

You are our ideal candidate if you have:
- Relevant experience in an operations management role within aviation/travel industry, as well as passenger services and/or operations experience within ground handling.
- Proven leadership skills to manage a large dynamic workforce and executing performance management and development.
- Experience in stakeholder relationships and the ability to influence and make change.
- Strong customer focus in developing customer centricity process.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with individuals and groups, ensuring effective flow of information in terms of awareness and understanding.
- Ability to work effectively with peers and other business units.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Manage and lead all personnel for Passenger and Operations Services at CPH Airport when on shift.
- Record attendance and manage daily shortfalls in resource allocation.
- Manage and oversee that SLA’s, KPI’s & engagement standards are met when on shift
- Carry out daily shift briefings with relevant staff and stakeholders and make shift summary reports
- Lead the establishment of a culture of continuous improvement, e.g. promote surfacing of improvement ideas and help with problem-solving and implementing solutions
- This job description is not limiting in comparison to other duties, as the Company may consider other duties appropriate to post the position on a permanent or temporary basis
- Based at CPH Airport but some travel may be required to support operations around the network.
