Job Description
POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY
Plans, manage and coordinate between multiple projects across the organization or lead a single targeted project that brings big impact to the organisation goals.
Provides dashboard reportings of project progress, issues and recommends interventions to debottleneck.
Essential Position Functions
- Responsible for designing, organizing programs and activities for the enterprise or targeted projects that drive big impact to organizational goals.
- Develop programmes to support the organization's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals.
- Manage budgets and operating plans for programs and writing program funding proposals.
- Organizing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
- Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
- Creating and managing long-term goals.
- Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
- Writing program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.
- Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
- Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
- Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
- Analyzing program risks.
- Working on strategy related matters.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve programme goals.
Key Challenges
- Ensuring success of transformation projects/programmes at entreprise or subsidiary/division level.
- Convincing and getting buy-in from internal and external stakeholders related to transformation projects.
- Programme manage projects.
- Facilitate and advise project sponsors and leads of strategic and tactical changes.
Skills
- Experience in designing and managing change/transformation projects/programmes in any of the following areas:
- Customer Experience, Operational Excellence, eCommerce, Retail, Project Management, Process Improvement, Design Thinking or Digital Transformation.
- Able to design, develop and facilicate workshops.
- Project management skills.
Relevant Industries
External
- Degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Project Management Certification will be an added advantage
Education
External
- Degree in any technical or business discipline
- Project management certification would be an added advantage
