BDA provides Through Life Support for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) P-8A Poseidon aircraft.
The program has an integrated Commonwealth and contractor workforce and is now seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team based at RAAF Base Edinburgh, on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave until December 2027.
To be successful in this role, you will be an analytical thinker and effective communicator, comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively across teams. You will enjoy building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be motivated to support continuous improvement across people, processes and performance.

Responsibilities:
As a Project Coordinator, you will:
- Coordinate the project's operating rhythm and complete associated reporting activities.
- Coordinate Risk, Issues and Opportunities (RIO) management across the project.
- Engage with project stakeholders to support the development and maintenance of project-specific documentation.
- Monitor, analyse and report on project performance metrics, summarising findings and developing recommendations for improvement.
- Engage regularly with project stakeholders to confirm progress against agreed project timelines.
- Coordinate with the project team to debrief and document lessons learned, along with corresponding corrective actions.
Experience/Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Project Management or Coordination role.
- Project management qualifications are desirable, but not essential.
- Intermediate MS Suite skills and experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively and network across all levels of the business.
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking ability and adaptability in fast-changing situations.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be Australian citizens to meet Defence security requirements and must be willing to undergo the standard government vetting process, including a full life background check. BDA will sponsor and support the required clearance process.
