You will play a critical part in the SITA Sustainability & CSR team, with the responsibility to implement and report on SITA environmental commitments, including Science Based Targets initiatives (SBTi), and to help embed sustainability into SITA strategy and operations. You will connect with individuals at all levels, influencing senior leaders across the business to act effectively across all our ESG materiality topics. Your work will support delivery of environmental, social and governance benefits for SITA, its employees, customers, suppliers, industry, and communities.

What You Will Do
As a Senior Sustainability Consultant, you will lead the following activities:
ESG Strategy and Regulatory Compliance
- Lead the following activities and liaise internally with stakeholders to ensure compliance to CSRD and any other sustainability standards applicable to SITA in the coming years.
- Assessing SITA inbound and outbound materiality impact on ESG topics.
- Assessing gaps and providing recommendations for each topical and SITA-specific material topic.
- Supporting the ESG strategy definition and implementation embedding the SITA ESG Material topics.
- Act as an advisor for best practices and processes for items related to sustainability & CSR.
- Managing the change, including training SITA-impacted teams.
Sustainability Reporting and Disclosure
- Supporting the Sustainability Reporting Manager, in the Finance team to evaluate ESG programs.
- Support data collection for GHG emissions (scope 1, 2 and 3), ensuring data is relevant, consistent, accurate, and audited.
- Publish regular ESG reports in compliance with relevant regulations and standards (GRESB, SFDR, GRI, SASB, TCFD).
- Provide business users with ESG credentials and data when needed
- Identify ESG-related risks and opportunities, working with risk management teams to mitigate these risks.
- Collaborate internally and externally, align ESG goals, and maintain transparent communication.
Corporate Social Responsibility and Volunteering
- Drive the CSR and volunteering strategy aligned with the company's values, goals, and international standards.
- Support CSR and volunteering initiatives across the company. .
Core competencies
- Understanding of the latest sustainability regulations, standards, and best practices (CSRD/ESRS, GRI, Taxonomy, etc.).
- Expertise in sustainability reporting, including design of processes and metrics.
- Ability to work with and analyze large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data.
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence across all levels of the organization.
- Strong networking skills with proficiency in engaging and managing relationships.
- Proficiency in Excel with excellent analytical skills and data proficiency
Who You Are
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Business, Sustainability Management, Environmental Science, Finance, Accounting, Engineering).
- 2+ years of experience in Sustainability and ESG Compliance; Sustainable Finance, Environmental Science, Sustainability Consulting, or related roles.
- Experience with ESG frameworks (United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, GRI, CSRD, ISSB); GHG reporting standards, SBTi, and reporting guidelines, strong proficiency in reporting of metrics and assessments, ideally ISO 14001
- Demonstrated expertise in the area of sustainability, implementing ESG programs and activities (GRI, TCFD, EU CSRD, EU Taxonomy, materiality analysis, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret complex environmental and financial data.
- Ideally, you have already gained experience with various sustainability ratings (EcoVadis, CDP, S&P CSA, Sustainalytics, etc.)
- You have experience in coordinating multidisciplinary projects in global enterprise environments.
- You have the ability to work in a team, initiative and a high degree of flexibility
- You see yourself as a service provider who can interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- You are not afraid of conflict in order to act in the interests of project success even in difficult situations.
