As a Technician (Fan Blade Manufacturing), you will have the opportunity to cover several operations on the shop floor. These may include the use of various hand tools, gauges, fixtures, hydraulic or pneumatic tooling to craft sophisticated and high-precision hollow titanium fan blades.
Key Accountabilities:
- Operate CNC machines, furnaces, automated robots and process lines.
- Work in a cleanroom environment, operating a variety of machines such as bonders, NDT (X-ray, FPI, UT) processes and etching lines.
- Work in accordance with technique sheets and quality procedures.
- Implement improvement initiatives, up keeping of 5S activities and housekeeping standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of NITEC or Diploma in an engineering related field.
- This role is open to recent graduates with no work experience.
- Able to interpret and read 3D feature drawings.
- Must be able to work on rotating shifts and overtime if required, inclusive of weekends and public holidays.
