Our market in Germany is growing, and we are looking to hire an experienced electrical engineer to join our teams. Successful candidate will have the chance to work with our internal network of Architects and Engineers designing defense and security focused facilities for the U.S. Federal Government, NATO- member Governments and related institutions. This job is hybrid, combining home office with the ability to work in the Kaiserslautern, Munich, or Wurzburg office at least 2 days per week on average. Key duties of the role include: • Providing electrical engineering planning and design in accordance with the performance phases of the HOAI. • Providing technical support and consultancy for other project engineers and planning/design teams in the production of electrical design. • Preparing technical drawings, design analysis, calculations, construction documents, and specifications. • Ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards. • Coordinating with team members, clients, general contractors, and local construction, permitting and design agencies. • Project-related national and international travel. • Diplom- Ingenieur, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification in the field. • Several years of professional experience in planning and design of technical building services (Technische Gebaeudeausruestung - TGA), including electrical infrastructure, communication, and security systems. • Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices (state of the art) as well as interdisciplinary regulations such as HOAI or DIN standards. • Ideally, experience with both Federal (German and US) and Private clients • Practical knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, E-Plan, relevant MS Office Software, and industry-standard specifications software (ideally, Orca).
