Job Purpose
- Ensure the integrity, compliance, and efficiency of incoming parts and materials essential for aircraft maintenance and operation.
- To conduct thorough inspections of all incoming items, including parts, hardware, and consumables, in accordance with regulatory standards and company procedures outlined in the Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE).
KeyAccountabilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of all incoming parts, hardware, and consumables, adhering to the guidelines outlined in the Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE).
- Issue Stores Acceptance/Quarantine Tags for inspected items, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company procedures.
- Coordinate the transfer of approved parts to Stores and promptly escalate any issues regarding quarantined items to the Quality Manager for resolution.
- Verify that all stored items originate from approved sources, are appropriately packaged, and accompanied by the necessary documentation to validate their airworthiness.
- Maintain optimal storage conditions in the store, including regular monitoring of shelf life and storage environments for aeronautical goods.
- Implement stock rotation practices, prioritizing the use of items based on their arrival dates to prevent expiration or deterioration.
- Monitor the shelf life of stored items and promptly remove any expired products from inventory.
- Maintain meticulous records and ensure traceability of release and shipping documents for all items received in the store.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of handling Dangerous Goods (DG) and adhere to
- Understand the significance of Occurrence Reporting, identifying and reporting any incorrect data, existing or potential defects, and safety risks within the working environment.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
