Ryanair Labs are currently recruiting for a .NET Developer to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group!
This is a very exciting time to join Ryanair as we look to expand our operation to 800 aircraft and 300 million guests within the next 10 years.
We are looking for talented C# developers to join our engineering team, a team of engineers distributed among Wroclaw, Lisbon, Madrid, and Dublin. In this role, you will work closely with our technology and operations teams to develop, enhance, and support the enterprise systems that power Ryanair’s daily flight operations.
Duties
- Design, develop and maintain high-quality, testable, and high-performing .NET enterprise applications using Agile development practices.
- Champion engineering excellence and promote software development best practices across the team.
- Collaborate with analysts, product owners and business stakeholders to define, refine, estimate, and plan new requirements.
- Demonstrate proof-of-concepts and completed work items to product owners and key business stakeholders.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance our processes, tools, and technical solutions.
- Release software with a DevOps culture through software release management techniques including Continuous Integration & Delivery.
- Learn and work with cutting edge technology and solutions as part of a high performing team within a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 6+ years of solid C# experience with .NET (Core and Framework).
- Proven track record of Cloud Microservices delivery using AWS services (incl. ECS, SNS, SQS, Lambdas). NServiceBus & Entity Framework is advantageous.
- Experience with event-driven and message-based architectures.
- Ability to design and deliver end-to-end solutions, build robust, scalable, and resilient high-throughput applications, and rapidly develop prototypes.
- Strong grounding in SOLID principles, coding standards, and a commitment to engineering excellence.
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL database design and usage.
- Experience of RESTful services, unit and automated testing.
- Self-driven and strong problem-solving ability with analytical skills.
- Experience with AI development tools and LLM integrations would be advantageous.
