Norse Atlantic is looking for a skilled Inflight Cabin Product Manager responsible for the overall development and management of a portfolio of cabin products (Inflight entertainment, onboard soft product, etc) and will be the main point of contact between Norse and our suppliers.
The right candidate will have an excellent problem-solving mindset and rigorous attention to detail. This is a multi-faceted role that covers contract management and commercial areas.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for business cases, budget, cost control, results and reporting for cabin products in portfolio (e.g. IFE, Comfort items, etc).
- Project management of enhancements and implementation to deliver excellence in inflight customer experience, IFE content and cabin design across the Norse fleet
- Seatback Marketplace and Ordering
- EPOS improvements
- Revenue generation via Paid Product Placement/Advertising and Pay-Per-View Entertainment
- Waste reduction and improving sustainability
- Cabin furnishing refreshes and redesign
- Enhance Inflight Entertainment (IFE) platform and content / commercial strategy as well as ongoing optimization with an eye to building commercialisation and revenue share opportunities
- Ongoing vendor management of suppliers, including ongoing contract and relationship management (inc. designing KPIs, conducting formal business reviews, performance management and management of day-to-day activity etc)
- Responsible for the management of passenger comfort items, including stock control and re-ordering (e.g. passenger blankets, pillows, amenity kits)
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships within Norse Atlantic and with external suppliers to optimize and grow revenue and reduce cost according to the needs of the business and stakeholders.
- Proactively look for ways to improve Cabin related business processes by removing pain points to enhance the overall experience and increase sales.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Business relevant undergraduate degree + 2-5 years’ experience with IFE or airline product management, or in airline or travel ancillary revenue
• If no degree, 6+ years’ experience in IFE or airline product management, or in airline or travel ancillary revenue
• Entrepreneurial & self-starting, with ability to work with significant independence
• Vendor management experience
Required experience
• Commercially literate / astute, political awareness, with strong written and presentational skills. Ability to build and ‘sell’ business cases.
• Demonstrable leadership abilities and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised with keen attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Self-motivated and resilient with a strong work ethic, who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
