JOB DUTIES:
Solution Engineer Manager positions available with Sita Information Networking Computing USA INC in Atlanta, GA. Collaborates on the technology planning, strategy, direction and design choices within solutions used to meet the business requirements of SITA customers. This includes providing guidance, support and advice in the proposal, implementation and deployment for any new or existing product developments as part of a customer solution. Provides the technical qualification and owns the technical parts of proposals submitted to customers through knowledge of current, new or evolving technologies, and SITA solution portfolios. Designs/coordinates development of standard and complex solutions which may involve multiple parties both internally and externally, including the selection of 3rd party vendor to meet customer requirements. Promotes SITA by furnishing customers with comprehensive, up-to-date information on current products, product enhancements and new solutions, through customer meetings and workshops. Facilitate designs to be efficiently implemented Right the First Time (RFT) and supported operationally. Collaborates with colleagues to gain and share ideas and opportunities. Lead, mentor and coach staff and organize technical training and certification on the products and technologies supporting the ATI. Supports account team or competency centers during the pre-contract phases (qualification, proposal and contract) with technical designs and advice. Participates in the development of technical account strategies with the sales team to ensure maximum account penetration and commercial benefits for SITA in the long term. Designs and implements network solutions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Collaborates closely with clients to assess their specific network requirements and develops customized solutions aligned with their business objectives. Conducts comprehensive network assessments and provides recommendations for enhancements and improvements. Takes the lead in pre-sales activities, including delivering technical presentations, conducting solution demonstrations, and contributing to proposal development. Configures and troubleshoots various network devices and technologies, leveraging expertise in Versa technologies, Cisco Viptela, AWS, and the SITA portfolio. Demonstrates a deep understanding of the latest advancements in networking technologies and industry trends, evaluating their applicability to client environments. Serves as a technical escalation point for complex network issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolutions. Collaborates seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including sales, project management, and operations, to ensure the seamless delivery of network solutions. Provides comprehensive training and knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams on implemented solutions. Maintains meticulous documentation of network designs, configurations, and support procedures. Position based in Atlanta, GA.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, Engineering, Computer Technologies, or related technical field, and at least 3 years of experience in the job offered or at least 3 years of experience working with IT networks. (In lieu of Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience, will accept 5 years of experience in stated field). Stated experience must include at least 3 years of experience in each of the following: working with airline networks; translating customer needs into technology; maintaining network, performing changes and upgrades, and consulting on complex solutions; managing the life cycle of customer networks, evaluating technical designs, and providing solutions; and providing technical support and troubleshooting.
We will pay at least $100,000 per year depending on education and experience.
