The role: Project Lead - 18 Month Fixed Term contract or Secondment
Manages and delivers assigned material projects, including bespoke cabin interiors for BA’s fleets. Ensures coordination and material delivery within agreed scope, time, and budget. Provides coordination to deliver innovative solutions that differentiate the BA brand.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver the Supply Chain streams of cabin interior programmes of varying size, ensuring scope, quality, budget, and regulatory compliance
- Manage schedules, interdependencies, and stakeholder engagement across BA, IAG, and global suppliers.
- Lead milestone reviews, certification processes, and risk management throughout the programme lifecycle
- Provide technical insight on FAA, CAA, and EASA regulations; ensure airworthiness and legal compliance
- Oversee planning, financial forecasting, and reporting to drive effective mitigation and decision-making
- Coordinate with MRO, engineering technical, and production teams for seamless delivery of materials
- Leadership of specific workstreams of activity in support of successful project execution
- Support programme management and other PMO duties related to assignment
What you’ll bring to British Airways:
- STEM degree or equivalent experience in programme role - Essential
- Experience delivering aviation engineering programmes with risk management and mitigation -Desirable
- Knowledge of aviation regulatory frameworks (FAA, CAA, EASA) and certification processes would be beneficial – Desirable
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, cross-functional coordination, and managing budgets -Desirable
