Purpose of the Job:
Assist Head, Group CI Office to deploy continuous improvement initiatives to ST Engineering - Business Area and its respective Line of Business (LOB) and Business Units (BU), including local and overseas LOB/IBU.
Key Job Accountabilities:
1. Manage the development/deployment of CI toolkit E-learning Program to BA/LOBs/BU
2. Provide coaching on the implementation of eight CI toolkit.
3. Follow up with the implementation of CI projects, including tracking of CI - project savings.
4. Coach BA/LOB/BU to carry out CI/VSM/Kaizen events and follow up with their implementation plan.
5. Prepare CI workplan for deployment to BA.
6. Manage the CI Assessment program.
7. Manage/Support CI Council & Work Plan
8. Manage E-Control Tower, newsletter, publicity to promote CI.
9. Support and facilitate improvement events: VSM, Kaizen, TPM, Changeover, etc.
10. Lead the implementation of Business Process CI
11. Act as Kaizen Committee Deputy Chairman / Kaizen Sensei to manage Kaizen activities.
12. Any other duty as and when assigned by Head, Group CI Office
Reporting Relationships:
Report to Head, Group Continuous Improvement
Required Experience and Qualifications:
• Education: Degree Engineering or Technology/Business
• Lean Expert/Practitioner: At least five years’ experience working as Continuous Improvement change agent.
• Lean certification would be advantageous.
• Experienced in leading Kaizen event.
• Knowledge in Business Process CI is a plus advantage.
• Self-starter. Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to work with staff at all levels.
