ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Techno-Functional Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex application changes. This individual will play a crucial role in gathering, analysing, and managing requirements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions on time and within budget. Additionally, they will lead the development of best practices and provide technical guidance to less experienced team members.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Gather, manage, and analyse requirements to design complex application changes.
- Assist in and take ownership of estimates developed by the Cross Functional Team.
- Lead the delivery, testing, and support of complex application changes related to own area of responsibility.
- Ensure the quality of solutions and their timely delivery to customers.
- Lead the development/improvement of application and process best practices, garnering buy-in from all stakeholders through a consultative approach.
- Provide support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead functional design discussions and provide innovative solutions to business challenges.
- Produce high-quality documentation to support project deliverables.
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Leverage customer-facing experience to understand and address client needs.
- Apply knowledge of Government projects, particularly in areas such as Airline and Border management Projects, to inform project strategies and solutions
EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 6+ years of experience in deployment or support of application software, with experience in multiple full lifecycle implementations.
- Prior technical experience is highly desirable.
- Formal project management training is a plus. - Proven experience working on complex solutions.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead functional design discussions and drive consensus.
- Exceptional documentation skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated customer-facing experience with a focus on understanding and addressing client needs.
- Knowledge of Government projects, particularly in areas such as Airline and Border management Projects, is advantageous.
