Keep aircraft records accurate, complete and airworthy
As a
Specialist — Technical Data, you’ll review and audit aircraft maintenance records to help ensure completed work is properly documented and accounted for.
You’ll work with aircraft log pages, maintenance packages, parts transactions, flight times and other technical records, verifying that information is accurately captured in Frontier’s approved maintenance systems. When something doesn’t match, you’ll track the discrepancy and help ensure corrections are completed.
This is detailed, behind-the-scenes work that supports the integrity of Frontier’s maintenance records and the airworthiness of our aircraft.

Accurate maintenance records are an essential part of aircraft airworthiness and regulatory compliance. Your work helps ensure Frontier has a complete, reliable record of maintenance performed across the operation so Technical Operations teams can make decisions using accurate aircraft data.
Leadership scope
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. The position works within established policies and procedures and receives detailed instruction on new projects and assignments.
What You’ll Do
Audit aircraft maintenance records
- Audit maintenance entries from Line Maintenance, overnight maintenance, C-Checks, stations, Maintenance Control, Technical Services and Maintenance Planning.
- Perform real-time audits of completed overnight, ad hoc, out-of-service, AOG and line-maintenance work packages.
- Verify mechanic sign-offs, aircraft manual references and other required documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure maintenance records are received into the appropriate approved maintenance record database.
Maintain accurate aircraft data
- Audit aircraft parts transactions entered into FMIS and verify entries against supporting maintenance documentation.
- Enter aircraft parts transactions when required.
- Review maintenance logbook pages, non-routine records and related documentation to ensure transactions are properly accounted for.
- Support requests for aircraft documentation, DFPs and component times/cycles.
Resolve record discrepancies
- Track documentation and data discrepancies.
- Escalate unresolved discrepancies at established intervals.
- Help ensure required corrections are completed and uploaded into the appropriate records system.
What You’ll Bring
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
Preferred
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
- Previous records experience in aviation, legal or medical environments.

- This is an on-site role based at Orlando International Airport (MCO) in Orlando, Florida.
- The role works primarily in an office environment using desktop computers, scanners and other standard office equipment.
