Within the A320 Customer Line Team, we are expanding our role and looking to increase the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering team by hiring a new team member(s). Job Summary: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) is responsible for all Aircraft Maintenance activities during Customer Line Phase from FOT to Handover (Flightline Phase) and Handover to TAC/TOT (Delivery Phase). The role of A/C Maintenance Engineer is to be the technical focal point for all related open items from ALBs, QLBs, NCs, OSW, and any anomalies to support the Customer Line Operational Team. This includes creation and maintenance of all Work Orders, maintenance of Aircraft Storage procedures, respond to technical questions and understanding & review of Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) / Drawings, especially for aircraft mechanical and electrical related items. Establishes and maintains effective communications with Customer Line Operational and Quality teams as part of the APT. Active link between AME and Flight Line technicians. Active participation in the preparation of the delivery of the Aircraft to the Final Customer from Permit to Fly till Transfer Of Title including any Part 145 Activities upon Customer Request and Contractual obligations.

Your challenges:
Handle anomalies within assigned areas (Cabin, Systems, Electrics, or Structures), create specific work instructions for Flight Line rework, establish/verify the technical content of anomalies, and validate in documentation.
Provide technical support to Flight Line technicians and Multi Functional Team on all issues including oversight of directed changes.
Identify and validate Workshare for all items assigned in the ALB, NC transfer to determine Airbus, Supplier responsibilities.
Creation of NC/S03 as needed for traceability requirements for all CA’s.
Initiate availability of replacement parts, jigs, and tools required for work.
Manage continuous improvement measures with recurrent anomalies in cooperation with quality.
Analyze current status, create reports, exchange information with local and European colleagues.
Support the Milestones necessary for the Delivery of the Aircraft to the Final Customer.
Create, monitor, and maintain both standard and non-standard work orders needed in Customer Line.
Acts as representative and leader for AME Customer Line in projects and meetings as required.
Communicates with European colleagues at other manufacturing sites for guidance on repeat or complex issues.
Monitor all outstanding paperwork topics on aircraft and review ALB for items within your responsibility.
Act as a focal point for Internal and external Audits (EASA…).
Participate as an active team member to support Manufacturing Activities in the Flight Line.
Secure the training of the newcomer to cover all aspects of Aircraft maintenance and manufacturing engineering activities.
Responsible for incorporating all DS and design intent into legible, work instructions and refine them in terms of language, level of detail and responsibility to ensure operations have correct information for aircraft build.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Delegate for HO AME as required.
Your boarding pass:
Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of Airbus experience or 5 years industry experience, or Non-degree holder with 5+ years of Airbus experience within Operational and Support role or 7+ years of industry engineering experience.
Required: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred: Previous experience in Manufacturing Engineering within Airbus or high level of knowledge with Aircraft maintenance from mechanical / avionic hands on experience (A&P licensed)

Knowledge about aircraft systems (hydraulic, electric, mechanic).
Preferred:
Knowledge of Airbus Industries mechanical process & methods.
Knowledge of Airbus IT-Tools (Zamiz, TAKSY, DocMaster, ECM).
Knowledge of common applications such as SAP.
Knowledge of rules for aircraft design and manufacturing.
Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and practice
