Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for Calibration/ Metrology Technicians for a validation and quality assurance provider located in Albany, NY. These opportunities are for 2nd and 3rd shifts. 2nd Shift 2:00pm to 12:00am 3rd Shift 10:00pm to 8:00am First 6 months will be 1st shift 7:00am to 4:00pm for training. Hourly rate is $40.00 to $50.00. This is a year assignment with potential of going direct. Requirements / Responsibilities: Ability to learn new skills regarding calibration and calibration processes. Previous experience with electronic or pressure training preferred. Basic mathematical skills including algebra, geometry and statistics. Familiarity with basic tools Proficiency with office computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Basic organizational and time management skills Basic interpersonal skills to interact with customers. Position will include team lead responsibilities. Candidates with experience in PMEL, PME, TMDE, Metrology, Calibration, ASQ CCT, METCAL, GPETE, Electronics, GCAMS, Determine work priorities and effectively manage workload to complete duties within demand and time constraints and in compliance with known standards. With guidance from department manager, provide training as needed to identified individuals. Must Have: Preference for knowledge of typical pharmaceutical/biotech bench top and process equipment Must be able to interpret and understand Engineering Drawings, also known as P&ID or blueprints or prints. #D400
