As
Manager — Material Services, you’ll lead the people, processes and inventory operations that support Frontier’s aircraft maintenance organization at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.
You’ll oversee Material Services Supervisors and Specialists across multiple shifts, balancing staffing with the daily demands of receiving, shipping and issuing high-value aircraft assets. You’ll also help ensure inventory transactions are accurate, regulatory requirements are met and the right parts and tooling are available to support Frontier’s operation.

Leadership scope
This role leads Material Services Supervisors and provides indirect oversight to Material Specialists and Lead Material Specialists.
What To Expect
This is an
on-site operational leadership role based at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).
The role supports a multi-shift materials operation and may include coordinating aircraft parts and tooling between the hangar and flight line as well as escorting delivery vehicles within SIDA-controlled areas.
What You’ll Lead
Lead Material Services operations
- Direct Material Services Supervisors and Material Specialists in daily inventory, shipping and receiving activities.
- Manage staffing, workflow and scheduling across multiple shifts.
- Help ensure employees are properly trained, qualified and current for assigned responsibilities.
- Lead Material Services Supervisors and provide indirect oversight to Material Specialists.
- Coordinate with departments and vendors to support Frontier’s daily operational requirements.
Protect inventory accuracy and compliance
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and regulatory compliance across inventory transactions.
- Monitor inventory-control processes and procedures at stations supported by contracted Materials personnel.
- Provide training and support to contracted teams as needed.
- Maintain warehouse operations and standards.
- Coordinate the movement of aircraft parts and tooling between the hangar and flight line.
Improve performance and efficiency
- Develop and implement practices that strengthen service to internal customers.
- Monitor departmental performance standards.
- Partner with the Inventory Analyst to prepare metrics and management reports.
- Identify opportunities to use technology to improve efficiency and transaction accuracy.
- Provide cross-training and job-rotation opportunities when appropriate.
Support safety management
- Coordinate assigned Safety Management System activities.
- Support SMS development, implementation, maintenance and integration.
- Identify hazards and participate in safety-risk assessments and change management.
- Monitor the effectiveness of safety-risk controls and promote safe practices.
- Support required safety-performance expectations and risk-management thresholds.
Required
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five or more years of experience in a multi-site warehouse environment.
- At least two years of experience in a materials environment.
- At least three years of experience managing or supervising direct reports.
- Inventory-control experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain required SIDA driving privileges.
- Ability to work effectively across departments and with vendors.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Ability to work with union representatives and support applicable agreements.
Preferred
- Master’s degree.
- Previous airline or aviation-industry experience.
