Corporate services (CS) encompass Corporate Finance, Treasury and Tax, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Global Finance Operations, Corporate
Risk and Compliance, Corporate Administration and Procurement activities.
Join
our Corporate Services division to help build the next generation of Finance
organization for IATA. The ambition we

A
few years ago, IATA defined a Data Vision & Strategy, supported by an
Information & Data (I&D) operating model.
The
organisation is entering the next phase by launching a Business Data &
Analytics practice within the Corporate
Services
FP&A department. This practice will be instrumental in building a business-oriented,
agile, and outcome-driven Data & Analytics function that enables proactive
decision making. This initiative is grounded in a spirit of strong partnership
across all IATA divisions. It is within this context that the current position
is being created.
This
role reports to the Senior Manager, Business Data & Analytics, within the
FP&A department. What your day would be like
You
will act as a business data and
analytics specialist partnering closely with FP&A teams, business
stakeholders, and Information & Data teams to lead the execution of FP&A data and
analytics priorities and deliver high-impact business insights that support
enterprise decision-making and performance management.
You will:
- Analyze complex financial, operational, and enterprise performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and key business drivers, and provide actionable recommendations that support management decisions and business performance outcomes.
- Own, govern and continuously evolve the FP&A reporting and visualization ecosystem by developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards that serve as the trusted source of truth for business performance and decision-making.
- Drive the integrity and reliability of FP&A data by establishing and maintaining robust data quality controls, validation processes, business definitions, and governance practices that enable trust and consistent insights.
- Design, maintain, and enhance enterprise reporting data models and analytical datasets, ensuring scalability, performance, consistency, and alignment with business reporting requirements.
- Serve as a key analytics partner for Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), ensuring data consistency, integrity, and alignment across planning, forecasting, and reporting activities.
- Lead analytics-driven process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation, eliminating manual activities, standardizing reporting practices and implementing scalable solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, governance and user experience.
- Act as a trusted advisor for FP&A and business stakeholders, translating strategic and operational requirements into analytical, reporting and performance management solutions.
- Own and drive the continuous enhancement of KPI frameworks, management reporting standards, and performance measurement practices, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and decision-making needs.
- Champion the effective use of cloud-based analytics platforms and modern data capabilities to enable scalable analytics, reporting, and self-service insight generation.
- Provide specialist expertise in the design and enhancement of reporting-oriented data models, data pipelines, and data structures ensuring alignment with enterprise analytics and performance management requirements.
- Establish and maintain business definitions, reporting standards, data lineage documentation, and analytics requirements to promote transparency, governance, consistency, and knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Evaluate and promote opportunities to apply advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and AI-enabled capabilities to enhance forecasting, business performance analysis, and decision support.
- Provide subject matter expertise on FP&A analytics, reporting standards, data governance, and performance measurement practices, influencing the evolution of business data and analytics capabilities across Corporate Services.
We would love to hear from you if
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related analytical role, ideally within complex globally matrixed organizations.
- Proven ability to analyze large and complex datasets and transform data into actionable business insights that support decision-making.
- Advanced expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, visualization design, dashboard development, and performance optimization.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, analysis, automation, and advanced analytics.
- Hands-on experience with modern cloud-based analytics and data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks) and a good understanding of data warehouses, data lakes, and modern data architectures.
- Solid knowledge of data integration, ETL/ELT processes, data governance, data quality management, and reporting standards.
- Experience supporting Finance, FP&A, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), planning, forecasting, budgeting, or corporate reporting functions, with a strong understanding of KPI frameworks and performance metrics.
- Strong stakeholder management, business partnering, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions. Demonstrated curiosity and innovation mindset, with exposure to advanced analytics, AI-enabled insights, predictive modeling, or machine learning considered an advantage; fluent English is required.
