An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a contract position at their Bristol Machining facility, within the Turbines sector. We are looking for a Skilled TIG Welder to join on a rotating shift pattern (mornings, afternoon and nights).

What you will be doing:
On a typical day as a Skilled Welder, you will be expected to; engage in Health and Safety activity, produce components at the highest Quality, follow Manufacturing Instructions and Data Cards and work to meet high volume requirements.
What you will be doing:
- Welding Nozzle Guide Vanes (NGVs) using Work Instructions, Technical Information & drawings, using the information to ensure all Engine components are welded to the highest of standard and are conforming to the required specification.
- Working to set deadlines to achieve performance targets and Customer delivery commitments.
- Ensuring Health & Safety is adhered to a high standard, at all times.

- Completed a recognised time-served apprenticeship including City and Guilds, NVQ3/SVQ3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline. (Original trade papers must be available for review at interview).
- Experienced of TIG Welding to agreed standards is essential.
- As a Skilled Welder you will have experience in working with Nickels/Steels and Alloys.
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings (considered an asset).
- An up-to-date working knowledge of health, safety (including COSHH) and environmental procedures.
To work for the Rolls-Royce business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets we can only progress applications from individuals who are a UK national or, in MoD approved cases, a dual national.
