Overview:
Responsible for managing, establishing, reviewing and maintaining the master production schedule at a site or value stream
Job Title:
Assistant Manager - Master Scheduler
Job responsibilities:
- Understand the planning requirements for managing make-to-stock, make-to-order, assemble-to-order, and engineer-to-order manufacturing environments.
- Assemble master schedule reporting regarding performance to the business plan, the shipment plan, the inventory plan, and the production plan.
- Ability to manage all production orders which are created or released to WIP as well as understanding supply and capacity constraints for planned orders that fall within the execution window.
- Ability to perform analysis of shortages and capacity constraints and summarize findings
- Demonstrate the use of information-gathering techniques, analyzing situation and identifying implications in order to make correct decisions
- Understands ERP system principles and operations and establishes ERP planning procedures (SAP, KINAXIS)
- Support Capacity review and inputs, MPS supply load, and fulfilment strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant master’s degree is a plus.
- 7 to 9 years of experience in production planning, scheduling , supply chain management, or a related field within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
