Our Jacobs team in Sydney is hiring a friendly part-time receptionist/administrator to be based in our office in Sydney. The role is permanent part-time. Working on a Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, this position supports day-to-day operations of facilities services and activities within the office. The role consists of a variety of activities in support of daily operations and includes reception, mailroom, general facility operations, or maintenance.
Reception / Front Desk
* Answer and appropriately direct calls within multi-line phone system.
* Greet visitors; determine nature of business and direct to appropriate individual.
* Ensure completion of any visitor management tasks including review of Office Safety Induction Presentation.
* Maintain guest and visitor sign in/out; oversee the distribution and return of employee and visitor access badges.
* Assist in building or suite access control and the maintenance of a secure office.
* Perform or support office safety responsibilities.
* Maintain local contact lists, if appropriate.
* Maintain neat and organized front office area.
* Manage conference room use, reconcile conflicts, and post schedules (if appropriate).
* May assist with meeting setup, including procuring food and equipment.
* Friendly with a can-do attitude
* Effective communication skills - written and verbal
