Start the next chapter of your career with Crane Aerospace & Electronics! Job Summary: The Repair Station Supervisor will lead and direct teams of direct labor shop employees in the Repair Station. You will also plan, coordinate, train and supervise shop labor resources to achieve on time delivery of high quality, reliable repairs. Supervision includes employees with considerable variation of skills, and employees who are highly skilled within a specific area. The ability to facilitate efficient and effective communication between shifts and to ensure that operational support requirements are addressed will be critical to succeed in this position. Essential Functions: Schedule, coordinate, and track progress on the training required to certify the required number of personnel on each product line. Lead daily Repair Cell walkthroughs and work with Lead Technicians and the Repair Cell members to ensure that 97% or more of orders are processed through shop statuses in 6 calendar days or less. Make hire and/or termination decisions, conduct performance evaluations and salary reviews utilizing appropriate human resources policies and procedures. Ensure that all product processed through the Repair Station is serviced, inspected and/or tested per customer specified, approved technical data. Evaluate and recommend process improvements and changes in methods, equipment or procedures in assigned areas of responsibility. Implement improvements in work flow and methods. Foster and lead 5S and continuous improvement activity in the repair station. Work with Aftermarket VSM in determining budget needs; make cost analyses and justify expenses. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Possess or be able to attain a CFR-145 Repairman’s Certificate. A minimum of three years of experience supervising technical employees, preferably in a CFR-145 Repair Station. Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Windows and MS Office applications. Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment and build teamwork and cohesion between departments and groups within the organization. Must be able to support customer and regulatory authority on site audits and visits and represent Crane in a very positive and professional manner. Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US persons will be considered. Additional Comments: This is an FAA Covered position subject to random Anti-drug and alcohol misuse prevention program screenings. Must be a US Person under ITAR regulations. The Repair Station is responsible for supporting aircraft operators 24X7X365. As such, flexibility and alternate shift schedules may be required to support time critical operations. Top Benefits: Salary range: $80,000 to $143,900. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications.
