Job Description
The successful candidate will be part of SIA’s Pricing & Merchandising Department (PMD) in Sales & Marketing Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Support administrative and operational functions in pricing:
- Support data and report generation for Pricing Analysts and Pricing Managers with canned report from various systems, platforms, and dashboards.
- Provides basic admin support to maintain Tableau dashboards used by the department.
- Perform system administrator duties for PMD owned systems.
- Ensures knowledge retention for the department by maintaining Pricing related knowledge database in Microsoft Teams.
- Assist and guide stations users on the functions in fare management system (SQFS).
- Maintain and monitor policy/fare exceptions approved by PMD and ensure compliance in timely reviews.
- Monitor and tracking interline through fares creation by the department and stations
- Monitor and track changes in Interline Agreements (ITAs) or Special Prorate Agreements (SPAs) that impact global interline products.
- Support and perform User Acceptance Testing for related company and divisional projects.
- Fare filing:
- Perform pricing actions via Merchandising Platform (AAM) to support Head Office driven initiatives.
- Assist in troubleshooting of fare filing and pricing issues.
- Any other administrative duties required to support the activities of the department.
Requirements
- Diploma holder or equivalent qualifications
- Knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and/or airline ticketing and reservations is preferred
- Comfortable working with systems and Microsoft Excel
- Meticulous with a keen eye for details
- Able to work both independently and as a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
