As a member of the Compliance Monitoring team, the Airworthiness Review and Compliance Engineer perform Airworthiness Reviews and issues Airworthiness Review Certificates or Recommendations in accordance with EASA Part-M and Part-CAMO. Furthermore the Airworthiness Review and Compliance Engineer assists in aircraft import/export and performs compliance monitoring tasks (audit).
MAIN TASKS
- Assisting in planning of the Airworthiness Review Certificate schedules and controls the status of the ARC`s.
- Performing Airworthiness Reviews
- Extending Airworthiness Review Certificates
- Assisting with the import and export of aircraft
- Performing internal and external audits in the areas of Continuing Airworthiness and Management System
- Liaison with the CAMO`s and subcontracted CAMO`s technical departments to resolve all Airworthiness Review findings and makes sure that all findings are closed prior to making a Recommendation or issuing an Airworthiness Review Certificate
- Management of the Airworthiness Review /Compliance Monitoring software
- Familiarization with aviation legislation on a regular basis
- Preparation of reports and statistics
- Liaison with external bodies and stakeholders such as Civil Aviation Authorities, external MRO`s and other DHL aviation entities
- Assisting with audits conducted by external bodies (e.g. authorities)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represents the company in technical compliance related matters
- Implements procedures relating to airworthiness reviews / compliance monitoring and checks regularly if they are compliant to regulations and to DHA standards
- Supervises and controls compliance activities in the area of expertise
- Defines processes and procedures required for mitigation monitoring
