The Software D evelopment Engineer III is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of efficient technology-based solutions with the objective to improve productivity, lower operating costs and/or increase revenue. The individual in this role will support architecture, design and development of software solutions based on Microsoft SharePoint, Web Services and .Net Framework. Essential Functions: Contribute to major group-wide initiatives as a developer for applications such as but not limited to: ERP Implementation Oracle Fusion (Cloud) EBS suite BI Initiatives Work on Azure Services such as Data Factory Power BI Analysis Services RPA Development Provide administrative support on maintaining RPA processes such as below but not limited to Manage security and user access Deploy code versions Create and run test scenarios and plans Documentation and training UI Path orchestrator management Participate in requirements definition sessions to gain a general perspective on the business objective(s) or business problem that is to be addressed by the system Ability to Lead team of Software Development Engineers in large scale projects with the objective to improve productivity, lower operating costs and/or increase revenue Work with end users to gain an understanding of functional requirements Work with end users to develop implementable technical designs. Research and recommend alternative design solutions where appropriate Analyze requirements, design and develop prototype and work with the users to fine tune the application and make recommendations Maintain/update existing solutions created in MS Power Platform Work with the software development engineers to create user-friendly front end applications utilizing Power Platform and Microsoft Dataverse that meet security requirements. Resolve IT related business information system problems Create and maintain necessary technical documentation and flowcharts such as data dictionaries, entity relationship diagrams, release notes, etc. Any other task assigned by supervisor or management Minimum Qualifications: Experience : 3+ years of Oracle EBS Release 11i or 12 in an application development or consulting role; 5+ years in a development and / or technical support role; Experience in Ability to personalize both core and JSP pages. Knowledge : Advanced knowledge of ERP interfaces and APIs; Strong knowledge of Java and web applications; Strong understanding of Expert Oracle Forms and Reports tool; Knowledge of Subversion (SVN) or other source code management tools; Exposure to SDLC processes Skills/Abilities : Demonstrated ability to create and deliver training; Demonstrated ability to develop, build and configuration management processes; Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; Advanced skills with SQL and PL/SQL and strong ability to tune those statements; Strong customer service skills; Ability to register and setup concurrent programs and forms; Ability to register and modify menus and responsibilities; Ability to create, extend and deploy OAF forms Education/Certification : BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related field Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Experience in GCC High would a plus.
