Job Description:
Leads, directs, and reviews the work of professionals or lower-level supervisors. Communicates within and outside own function to explain and gain cooperation on policies and practices. Makes moderate to substantial improvements to processes, systems, and solutions. Plans and establishes goals and objectives for a team with direct impact on the short-term operational results for the department. Requires practical knowledge in leading/managing projects, processes, and employees and has strong knowledge within professional discipline.
Essential Functions:
- Leads the execution of all phases of a portfolio of projects from inception through completion.
- Drives program execution in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs.
- Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
- Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
- Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and identifies and implements solutions, such as allocating resources or changing contractual specifications.
- Directs the work of project managers and other employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 6 years prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Proven project/program management performance with DoD or USN customer
- Costpoint – Prior Experience preferred
- COGNOS – Proficiency
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) – Proficiency
- Proven Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
- Set clear goals
- Drive results in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrates aptitude in the following areas
- Program Cost management, EVMS experience preferred
- General knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements
- Government DPAS rated contracts
- Project management, production projects

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $102,000 - $190,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
