The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Global Command Center Analyst. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous monitoring, management, and resolution of incidents affecting our IT infrastructure and services. Operating within a fast-paced environment, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining the stability, availability, and performance of critical systems, networks, and applications.
What You Will Do
- Monitor and analyze IT infrastructure and services using various monitoring tools and systems.
- Respond promptly to alerts, incidents, and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
- Escalate incidents to appropriate teams or stakeholders as per defined escalation procedures.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to expedite incident resolution and minimize impact on business operations.
- Document incident details, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the incident management system.
- Perform routine system health checks and maintenance tasks to proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of operational processes, procedures, and documentation.
- Participate in shift rotations to provide 24x7 coverage, including weekends and holidays.
- Provide timely and clear communication to stakeholders regarding incident status, resolution progress, and post-incident reviews.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Minimum 5 years proven experience in IT operations, preferably in a command center or NOC environment.
- Minimum 5 years experience with IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, databases, and applications.
- Minimum 5 years experience with monitoring tools and systems for incident detection and management.
- US Citizen or US Person required

Qualifications We Prefer
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- ITIL certification or knowledge of ITIL processes is a plus.
- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.

This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. Minimum Program Qualifications
To qualify for the RTX Re-Empower Program, candidates should:

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
