Reporting to Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Partner will attract, engage, and recruit talent using various HR platforms and social media, building relationships networks.
The Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for delivering recruiting support for Air Canada's recruiting needs and client groups through proactive initiatives, participating in recruitment activities across all Air Canada divisions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the full cycle recruitment for the designated client groups through screening, shortlisting, and interviewing candidates (in-person and virtual) in coordination with hiring managers
- Develop and manage strong business relationships with clients to ensure best in class recruitment and guarantee client satisfaction
- Define necessary requirements for open roles with hiring managers
- Track applicant activity and other recruitment metrics through the applicant tracking system and CRM platform
- Leverage applicant tracking system, professional networks and social medias for sourcing initiatives including campaigning, connecting with passive candidates, and recruitment projects
- Recommend sourcing strategies on open positions to attract passive candidates
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition leaders on results-driven attraction strategies for current and future recruitment needs
- Build and grow a network of promising candidates and maintain relationships for existing and future mandates
- Contribute to Air Canada's commitment to acquire and develop a diverse workforce
- Participate in continuous training to keep up with the changes within the department and organization.
- Travel occasionally for recruitment activities and events.
Qualifications
- University degree in Human resources or related field
- Experience in technical, mass or management level recruiting (an asset if at the national or multi-location level)
- Solid understanding of Canadian employment legislation governing employee recruitment, selection, and hiring
- Proficiency with MS Office and web-based applicant HR systems (such as but not limited to Taleo, Phenom, PeopleSoft)
- Previous agency recruiting experience (an asset)
- Knowledge of employer branding strategies and recruitment marketing and social media
- Think outside the box, proactive and engaging attitude
- Proven experience in delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing customer satisfaction
- Strong initiative, organization and disciplined approach in fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility with work hours and ability to travel is essential
- This is a hybrid position requiring a presence at the office
