Accountabilities AIRBUS Flight Hour Services (FHS) is a transnational team managed from AIRBUS Headquarters in Toulouse with strong international footprint (Germany, Ireland, Singapore, India, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Hong-Kong, United Kingdom, Brazil, Chile…).
Airbus FHS provides customized services ranging from FHS-Component up to Tailored Services Packages - TSP - with the objective to provide airlines with :
o Significant inventory management and repair cost savings
o Support and improvement of maintenance and engineering activities
o Increased aircraft reliability and availability in an improved airworthy environment . Such packages include component maintenance and engineering, spare management, aircraft maintenance and fleet technical management services that are delivered directly by SLR or in cooperation with partners or suppliers such as OEMs, MROs or other service providers.
The services delivered in Tailored Services Packages include all or part of the following :
o Line Maintenance
o Base Maintenance
o Spares components management
o Planning
o Technical Recording
o MOC-MCC
o Technical Services / Engineering Per structure, a TSP deal is built on a local team close to the customer and supported by a Fleet Technical Management (FTM) mutualized central team. This team continually executes back office activities on Engineering, Planning and Technical records perimeter. The jobholder is a member of AIRBUS Flight Hour Services (FHS) organization and is a member of the FTM mutualized team. He/She acts as a Central Maintenance Planner. He/She reports to the Ho FTM Central Planning team. The position is based in Bangalore India where FTM Central team is located. The position involves shift work arrangement.
Main activities Based at FHS-TSP Central site, FHS-TSP Maintenance Planner is managing the following activities:
1. Remotely oversee’s customer’s A/C fleet maintenance planning on several bases
2. Closely coordinates with TSP Local team to deliver performance of line/base routine maintenance activities on the aircraft
3. Ensures that the maintenance activities are in compliance with customer’s approved maintenance program.
4. Processes customer work requirements.
5. Generates short term or long term maintenance forecasts
6. Tenance status and modifications in work to ensure all targets are met. 7. Maximizes effective maintenance task interval accomplishment, while ensuring compliance with customer and airworthiness requirements.
8. Monitors mainafeguards the airworthiness and safety of the customer's fleet through strictly controlled well-scheduled maintenance events to keep the aircraft in the highest industry standard. 10. Develops effective and efficient maintenance packages with appropriate control and progress planning to ensure smooth on time compliance of maintenance tasks.
11. Guarantees that Maintenance Information System meets a quality standard necessary to ensure Airworthiness of the fleet.
12. Actively reports safety related issues and any other FTM related issues, and in relation, participates in the whole process of finding a resolution to avoid future re-occurrence.
13. Guaranteeing an excellent level of service with the local teams in charge of the interface with the customer.
Outputs
1. Short term and long term maintenance forecasts
2. Daily summary for review with TSP local team
3. Maintenance Work Packages, Work Orders as defined in Interface Manual and standard procedures
4. Feedback / support / ownership of overall FHS-TSP Maintenance Planning procedures Experience, Skills and Competencies required
Education:
● Minimum degree holder in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
● Fluent English Technical knowledge:
● 3-10 years of experience in TSP / MRO Operations and Fleet Technical Management
● Experience in A/L Operations
● Knowledge of regulations constraints
● Knowledge of Continued Airworthiness Management.
● Knowledge of Maintenance Information System principle required.
● Knowledge on specific Maintenance Information system (AMASIS, RAMCO, AMOS) desirable.
● Highly organized and structured
● Capacity to work in unstable environment
● Excellent level of spoken and written English
