Job Summary
Responsible for managing complex accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization's financial resources and ensures compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting/analysis requirements for both inter-nal and external stakeholders
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of journal entries to ensure general ledger is accurate and complete
- Review and analyze financial information and prepare required financial reports and accounting statements to support the management team with good decision making. This may include but not limited to profit and loss statements, revenue by station, invoice statuses, debtor and creditor lists, repayment schedules, regulatory reports and filings.
- Provide support and advice for all auditing processes both internal and external
- Proactively manage all tasks related to the invoicing process
- Contribute and participate in the annual budget review process
- Provide technical accounting advice within area of expertise to functional or operational managers to support the development of revenue and expense, budgets; understand and interpret financial reports, and manage financial responsibilities for the area
- Provide support on key accounting processes (set up of cost centers, new customer set up, billing, centralized control checks and balances etc.)
- Coach less experienced accounting staff and help resolve problems.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications And Competencies
- University finance degree (or equivalent) plus Certified Public Accountant CPA (or equivalent)
- 5-7 years relevant work experience
- Excellent understanding of ERP Systems (SAP)
- Strong analytical skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and easy familiarization with new IT Tools
- Ability to work under demanding deadlines, flexible, communicative and ability to work in teams
- Good decision making skills based on facts and analyses
- Good relationship building skills
- Strong customer focus and problem solving skills
- Personal and professional integrity of the highest order
