About the team you are joining
You will be joining the Cargo Operations Solutions team based in Geneva
and reporting to the Product Manager Cargo Solutions.
We create products and solutions that help facilitate compliance with
international regulations and global standards, whilst seeking to improve
operational performance, safety, and quality. These products are developed in
close collaboration with our subject matter experts, industry, and
international organizations. Our products are delivered to the entire air cargo
community through online solutions, integrated APIs and data solutions using
emerging technologies. These products are continuously enhanced and updated to
offer the latest and best possible cargo operational solutions for air cargo
compliance to our customers.
You will be joining a diverse and multi-cultural team of
professionals that are dedicated to delivering effective solutions that help
improve operational efficiencies and compliance for air cargo stakeholders globally.
What your day would be like
You will be the product ambassador for Special Cargo Operational Compliance solutions and Live Animals specifically.
Support the development, launch and positioning of special cargo compliance solutions in the air cargo market.
Participate in the solution development life cycle including design, development, testing, trials, implementations and post-go-Live support. Once the product development is completed, perform product administration, product enhancements, and customer engagement Including onboarding, training and ensuring adoption and value is secured by customers.
Liaise with IATA cargo subject matter experts (SME), 3rd party software vendor and air cargo industry to ensure that:
the contents are maintained to the highest standards of completeness and accuracy.
the new business rules are applied correctly whenever the new contents are available.
the new features are tested and delivered as per specified requirements.
Support the product manager in management of the solution, administration of customer related activities such as surveys, user group meetings and market analysis.
Capable of performing demonstrations of the solution to the prospects and coordinate the onboarding, deployment, and change management activities with the client operations team.
Preparing documentation including solutions issues, new requirements etc. and take up with the vendor for resolution/development.
Provide support to industry relating to their use of the products including training, user administration, 1st and 2nd level helpdesk.
Work closely with the Customer Service team to find synergies and delegate 1st line support issues.
Contribute to the product road map and product development.
Assist in the ongoing development of existing and creation of new products and services.
Support in developing new seed funding requests and business cases.
Provide support to customers through applicable support channels to ensure they make optimum use of our products and interpretation of the data.

University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years professional experience in air cargo with broad international experience in the aviation industry.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of special cargo business processes and operations, including live animal, perishables and/or temperature-controlled shipment planning, preparation and acceptance).
Hands-on knowledge of IT product development, operation, and support including understanding of programming and XML
Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationship with 3rd party IT solution providers, internal and external stakeholders.
Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate to a wide range of stakeholders.
Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills: able to identify, analyze and resolve issues with a strong sense of attention to details and experience with analysis tools.
Strong sense of ownership with high standards; highly autonomous and organized, able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and toward tight deadlines.
Enthusiasm to work in a multi-cultural and multi-racial environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
