Role Introduction
Reports to:Enterprise Testing Lead
Enterprise Test Analyst for Test Data Governance is responsible to contribute in the continuous development and governance process of enterprise data management strategies and tools. Review and update data registry repository, manage data request process in and out of non-production environment and handle sensitive data applying proper strategies which adhere CPA Business and Security Requirements such as data masking. Conduct regular reviews on data management strategies on non-production environment to ensure compliance to industrial requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & implement non-production data management with the use of data registry and data masking tool
- Ensure functional and technical specifications align with the Enterprise Data Governance Policy
- Review data classification, data discovery and data element mapping regularly to reflect latest business data solution changes
- Review and monitor the test data requests to ensure that data protection strategy is implemented
- Maintain an up-to-date test environment data repository to understand the risk exposure of sensitive data
- Conduct regular data protection review and provide feasible recommendations and implement technical changes to improve the data protection strategy
- Support the training for relevant business functions requiring data masking
- Collaborate with various stakeholders on client questions and requests as it relates to data masking
- Provide support and maintenance of data masking tool sets
- Keep abreast of the latest trends in enabling technologies (e.g. Cloud Computing, Data Masking tools, AI, Blockchain) and understand the implication to software testing and data masking methods.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications or above is essential with Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines
- A minimum of 2 years of IT experience with hands-on experience in Data Masking, Data Analyitics with ETL and Testing
- Strong understanding of global, industrial data privacy or protection requirement is a plus
- Strong competency in application support, infrastructure and database administration experience particularly in cloud (AWS & Azure) is a recommended
- Proven experience with data tools and one or more programming / scripting languages (Informatica TDM, python, SQL, shell scripting, data modelling, data integration/ETL, reporting, metadata management, data mining, corporate data management & masking, etc.), particularly by using Informatica tools and technologies
- Experience in data governance process and metadata management tool is beneficial
- Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal effectiveness, process driven and focus on details
- Willingness and proactively accept and drive change to accomplish positive outcomes
- Ability to listen and articulate ideas verbally and in written formats to a broad range of audiences
- Focus on the end user’s or customer’s needs; ability to set expectations and understand end user behaviour
- Understand strategy and align tactical and strategic work in a well-balanced way
- Good understanding of applicable technology concepts, trends, capabilities and industry knowledge
- Excellent in written and spoken English with good command of Cantonese and Mandarin preferred
- Certification of ISTQB/PMP/CISA/ITIL/AWS/Azure is an advantage
