Summary of Position:
Plans, develops, publishes, and manages customer training event schedules, instructor training, and certifications with external organizations such as the FAA and EASA. Management of resources including multiple simulators and instructors with varying qualifications. Must accurately track and utilize at appropriate levels ensuring no event conflicts, target 98% efficiency and effectiveness. Requires cultural awareness ensuring positive conditions maintained throughout all operational phases of training. Develops an effective training production plan for the year to maximize customer throughput, target 90% class fill rate. The training plan is established then bookings will be accurately tracked and scheduled. Serves as the sales plan annually with forecast vision in a rolling 12, 15, and 18-month projection. Including simulation training programs, Ad Hoc training programs, opportunity forecasts and efficiency trends analysis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain Training Center student name list.
- Build long and short-range simulator schedules to ensure full coverage of instructors for all assigned simulator periods. Update leadership of utilization and effectiveness on a daily and weekly basis.
- Keep HFP (training database) updated with all current information ensuring proper delivery under correct authority.
- Coordinate with Chief Ground Instructor and Chief Simulator Instructor for instructor assignment for correct authority.
- Publish and post scheduling data for long/short range ground/academic and simulator training event schedules on computer database system.
- Comply with Leonardo company policy when building the schedule.
- Perform daily updates of scheduling data to compensate for changing conditions and training completion rates.
- Correlate simulator hours scheduled versus actual simulator use.
- Conduct weekly Training Coordination call to brief and discuss potential issues affecting the organization.
- Provide a weekly/monthly report to Training Manger for all metrics and KPIs assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and plan the master schedule in coordination with the team and
modify with respects to any changes with customers
- Maintain instructor roster with rest periods, vacations, monthly activity and other breaks
- Cooperate with team leaders Ground/Simulator on the weekly schedule to determine instructor qualifications and authorizations in order to properly assign the instructors to
the customers training activity
- Schedule classrooms, simulators, VIPT, and any tools availability to support training
delivery activities.
- Staying current with LH training operation manuals and company policies to assure all training events are scheduled in compliance with the Authority's approval.

- 3-5 years administrative and customer service experience.
- Preference given to prior experience in the commercial and/or manufacturing rotorcraft industry.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Superior problem solving / organizational skills
- Able to work independently with some assistance and make limited judgment calls
regarding customer issues
- Must be familiar with word, excel
