The UK Safran Electrical & Power team has expertise in designing and developing electrical systems comprising generators, power conversion, distribution and control, with developing expertise in electric motors for aircraft propulsion.

As an Accounts Assistant at Safran Electrical & Power you will support the finance team, primarily focussing on delivering credit control and employee expense procedures whilst learning and working with a team of experienced finance professionals for a leading global aerospace group. You will analyse staff expense claims, checking compliance with internal policies and processing when necessary. Training will be given to take full responsibility of a portfolio of customers. This opportunity allows great exposure and learning within a world class organisation, interacting with both customers and internal stakeholders.
The Role
- Support the finance team and wider company employees with day to day credit control processes
- Process staff expense claims, ensuring internal policies have been followed and liaising with managers to resolve issues
- Help to resolve parked invoices, liaising with accounts payable team
- Reconcile customer statements and solving customer queries
- Assist with month-end tasks, reporting and reconciliations
- Ad-hoc tasks to assist with accounting
- Strong interaction with all departments and financial teams within the company as well as customers
