Position Title: Supervisor Administrative (Airports)
Position Summary
The Supervisor provides administrative support and guidance to the leadership team and Crewmembers.
Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee the scheduling team, including call outs, PTO, Roster Apps updates, vacation, holiday and shift bids
- Establish and maintain departmental records including Crewmember files, weekly attendance statistics and payroll administration for the department
- Support development of Crewmember guidelines and processes
- Focus on teambuilding and communication between your department and all other departments
- Help coordinate and monitor administrative support to ensure training and operational schedules are documented accurately
- Communicate with the leadership team in order to provide optimal administrative support and Crewmember satisfaction
- Prepare reports for the leadership team on any payroll, hours worked, paid time off, overtime, attendance and work performance anomalies
- Serve as point of contact for coordinating schedules, meetings and conferences, and arranging travel as required
- Assist with Crewmember relocations and assignments related to promotions or changes in station requirements
- Administer progressive guidance to Crewmembers as needed
- Oversees Leave Of Absence and FMLA, working closely with the People and Benefits Team
- Other duties as assigned
- Is accountable to senior management for ensuring the safety and security of ground handling operations
- Ensures that policies and procedures are conducted in accordance with applicable federal regulations and standards
Minimum Experience And Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
- Three (3) years of administrative
- One (1) year of supervisory experience and/or leadership experience
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work variable hours, flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends
- Able to effectively manage sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge
- Depending on location, may need to acquire and maintain a United States Customs Clearance
- Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
- Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

- Remain composed in a demanding, fast-paced work environment and take control in unexpected situations
- Take a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support the engagement, growth, goal achievement
Crewmember Expectations:
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
- Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

- Ensures 24/7 coverage for the scheduling department and able to adjust own schedule and work times when necessary
