Location: Hybrid working 3 days a week in either our Cargo Facility at DCE - London Heathrow or VHQ in Crawley. Please note the working week must include a Thursday at DCE.

As a Commercial Development Analyst, you will be responsible for merchandising Virgin Atlantic Cargo, working collaboratively with our central marketing team to form and flawlessly implement our brand identity & communication strategy utilising a variety of channel types. As part of the team, you will play a key role in our Customer Research programme, championing the voice of the customer, from development to reporting, helping to guide initiatives that will help transform our business.

Day to day
Each day will be varied, working on multiple projects & campaigns to develop and merchandise our offering to our customers. Some of your key responsibilities and roles will include;
Product Development
- Assess and evolve our portfolio of products & services, working with a variety of internal stakeholders to help Virgin Atlantic Cargo lead in this competitive industry
- Create a product strategy to support our positioning in the Cargo market
- Work alongside our joint venture partners to shape our alignment and offering of products
Marketing and Communications
- Be responsible for Virgin Atlantic Cargo’s internal and external communication, supporting our commercial and sales strategies to deliver best-in-class campaigns that showcase why customers should use Virgin Atlantic Cargo
- Collaborate with Virgin Atlantic’s central marketing team and partners to form and deliver a marketing narrative to merchandise our products, services and global offering
- Sustainability, Product and Digital programmes are at the heart of our strategy at Virgin Atlantic Cargo. You will translate these initiatives into clear and compelling consumer-facing propositions
Customer Research
- Own and run our customer survey programme, delivering key insights and reporting which drive improvements to create the best in class customer experience
- Support development of our customer survey programme to increase response rate, reach and insights
About you

Alongside the above, we're looking for the following:

- Able to in work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, where deadlines and priorities can quickly change according to the needs of the business
- Strong commercial acumen
- Experience of working collaboratively with multiple teams to deliver a campaign, project or change
