In a nutshell
Reporting to the Head of Inflight Services (IFS), this role is accountable for the strategic planning and managing of:
- IFS non-food & beverage product supply chain including airport stationary and nominated Clubhouse items
- IFS galley development and planning, including future fleet dependencies
- IFS departmental change control
- All uniforms across the business
Day to day
You will be accountable for third party supply chain inventory control, budgetary management, people management, safety and security and responsibility for the non-food & beverage procurement strategy.
You will ensure the customer supply chain function meets brand expectations, promoting positive net promoter scores (NPS) and voice of the customer (VOC), whilst achieving customer and stakeholder satisfaction, weight, waste, and cost targets.
About you
Are you an inflight services professional, or working in a very similar industry/discipline who is exceptional at handling internal and external collaborators? If this sounds like you and you have the below skills and capabilities, then we'd love to hear from you!
- Degree level or qualified through industry experience
- Experience of Inflight product supply chains and processes, especially equipment and catering supply
- Commercial, financial knowledge and experience in the supply chain and logistics industry, specifically around transportation and warehousing across international borders
- Commercially astute with strong interpersonal, influencing presentation and analytical skills
- Champion for the customer, balancing this with cost
- Ability to travel at short notice
